A belated New Year’s Seven Sevens Meme

Annie tagged me a while ago and it took me a week to do the meme... But I had to think about some of these sevens... And often I figure out plans etc. for the new year after it started anyway. So, here we go: a slightly random and not fully completed meme (just couldn’t come up with enough at some questions)

7 things I want to do in 2006
finish my PhD (I am really fed up with it right now...)
study for my bar exam which will be in 2007
spend quality time with my beloved, my family and my friends
finish my bible in one year from 2005 ... finished everything except some prophets
do more sports
work on my time management and be more diligent
blog more regularly again ;)

7 things I want to do less in 2006
worrying
talk negatively about situations/people (does not happen that often, but still too often imo)
spend too much money on public transportation cause I’m too lazy to ride my bike
spend too much money on cafeteria food cause I’m too tired to make breakfast in the morning
...

7 ways I’m going to be a better wife/mother/friend in 2006
first I need to become a wife and mother ;) – not necessarily in 2006, but sometime in the future
call my friends on a more regular basis
call my friends, even if they never call me... ;)
do things because I know that they make them happy even though I might not enjoy them that much
cook more dinners for my friends
listen and not talk (sometimes I feel like I’m an excessive talker)
have lunch and coffee with a lot of wonderful ladies from my church with whom I don’t get together on a regular basis (if you don’t count service)

probably a whole lot cause I love to read; but I don’t have any definite plans sofar. Here are some authors I want to read:

Thomas Mann, The Buddenbrooks
Helmut Kohl (our former chancellor (1982-1998) published an autobiography about his time as chancellor from 1982-1992; my beloved got it as a gift for Christmas)
